Ware Soccer Falls In Strong Season Opener
Our soccer team put up a strong fight against Summit Christian Academy in the season opener, but fell 3-2 in the end. Our squad is split evenly male and female, with three 5th graders, and several students who have never played before. Bentley Thornton showed out, scoring both goals for the Waves, while Chase Murphy did a stellar job in the goal. Considering that our Waves went up against an all-male soccer team, we sure our proud of our WAVES!

Ware Academy is fully accredited, enjoying the benefits of membership with the Virginia Association of Independent Schools. Other memberships: Virginia Council of Private Education, National Association of Independent Schools, National Junior Honor Society, Independent School Management, Gloucester Chamber of Commerce, and the Gloucester Main Street Association.
