Ware Academy offers a range of co-curricular activities. Programs such as Art, Music, Dance, P.E., Library, Computer and Foreign Language all complement Ware’s academic curriculum.

The emphasis of Ware Academy’s Fine and Performing Arts Program is to develop the students’ skills and appreciation for the arts through developmentally appropriate hands-on learning experiences, as well as observing live performances.  The program focuses on exposing the students to new experiences and building individual creativity and self-confidence as an artist and performer. Visual and performing arts classes are available for grades Pre-Kindergarten through the Eighth Grade, reinforcing themes from the classroom. All grades have the chance to discover different cultures, styles and media forms through classroom learning, field trips and our Performing Arts Program which brings artists and groups to the school and allows the children to experience new art forms and/or cultures.

The library at Ware Academy collaborates with the faculty at all grade levels to implement and integrate curriculum supporting both the core and co-curricular subjects. The program is comprised of two strands; Reading Advocacy and Media/Information Literacy – finding and using information.
