Ware Academy is located one mile from Gloucester Court House. It is situated on a spacious campus of over nineteen acres. The campus consists of Noland Hall which is where the administrative offices, Kindergarten, Pre-kindergarten and the music and art rooms are located. The Lower and Middle Schools are housed in Waddell, Thomas, and Pickett Halls. Kilborn Hall is where the students participate in athletics/physical education and music, and conduct experiments in the science laboratory.
There is also a fully outfitted computer lab as well as a one-thousand square foot library with a computer library science research center included. Soccer, lacrosse and cross country are taught on the school’s athletic fields, and the young students enjoy the school’s playground. A recently added Butterfly Garden allows hands on experiences throughout the entire school for science and gardening experiential learning.
