North on Route 17 to Route 17 Business at Gloucester Courthouse. Turn right on East Route 14 also called John Clayton Memorial Highway. Proceed one mile, and Ware Academy is on the left.

From north of Gloucester County via Route 17.
South on Route 17 to Route 17 Business at Gloucester Courthouse. Turn left on Route 14 East, also called John Clayton Memorial Highway. Proceed one mile, and Ware Academy is on the left.

From the Northern Neck

Route 3 across the Rappahannock River. Left on Route 33 to Hartfield. Right on Route 3, Right on Route 198, Left on Route 3, Right on Route 14. School is on the right about 4 miles.

From Richmond on Interstate 64.
Exit interstate 64 at West Point. Proceed east on Route 33 through the town of West Point to Route 14 East at Shacklefords. Turn right on Route 14. Turn right on Route 17 south. Turn left onto Route 17 Business at Gloucester Courthouse. At light, turn left onto Route 14 East, also called John Clayton Memorial Highway. Proceed one mile, and Ware Academy is on the left.
