Every child deserves to grow, explore and develop to his/her potential. For over sixty years, Ware Academy has provided children in Gloucester and the surrounding counties with an independent school education reinforced by small class sizes and individual attention. Ware Academy prepares its students for the challenges of secondary school and beyond. Each student is empowered to achieve academic excellence, with an emphasis on the development of mind, body and character. Our primary objectives are to educate the whole child to their fullest potential and for students to acquire a respect and a desire for learning.

Online Giving

We are able to accept all major credit cards from our secure website. 

Gifts of cash
Simply include your check with the Ware Academy Fund remittance envelope and return it to the school.

Gifts of Real Estate and Securities
Securities transferred to Ware Academy  will gladly be accepted. It is our policy to liquidate all real estate and securities upon receipt and the value of this donation will be determined by fair market value at the time of transfer. For instructions regarding all transfers, please contact Chris Aycock, Director of  Development, at  804-693-3825 or email caycock@wareacademy.org.

Matching Gifts
Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to make charitable contributions. Matching gifts gifts are another vehicle for donors to maximize the impact of their gift. Corporate matching programs will vary; prior to making a gift, one should check with his/her employer.
