NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY
The Ware Academy chapter of the NJHS was requested to assist the Gloucester/Mathews Humane Society at their annual event “Mutt Strut on the Catwalk” on Tuesday, September 30th. Animals that were featured at the fashion show and eligible for adoption were assigned to each of the 17 members. They were responsible for the grooming, care, and socialization of the animasl prior to and during the event. This fabulous event was a fundraiser for the Humane Society which is currently constructing new facilities.
