Fine & Performing Arts Student's Artwork Displayed at Twice Told Tales - Summer 2010 Spring Concerts Delight Audiences 'Step Afrika!' at Ware, Friday, March 12th!
INSPIRE · EXPRESS · APPRECIATE AND THE DISCIPLINE REQUIRED FOR CONFIDENT AND CREATIVE SELF EXPRESSION. The emphasis of Ware Academy’s fine and performing arts program is to develop the student’s skills and appreciation for the arts through developmentally appropriate hands-on learning experiences, as well as observing live performances. The Ware Academy Arts Program focuses on exposing the students to new experiences, and building individual creativity and self-confidence as an artist and performer. Visual and performing arts classes are available for grades Pre-Kindergarten through the 8th grade, reinforcing themes from the classroom. All grades have the chance to discover different cultures, styles, and media forms through classroom learning, field trips, and our performing arts program which was established last year. An artist or groups of artists visit the school and immerse the children in their art and or culture. |
