SEVENTH GRADE PRE-ALGEBRA

ASSIGNMENTS AND AREAS OF FOCUS

The class has begun its final chapter of study before the third trimester exam; Functions, Geometry and Measurement. It is unlikely that the class will finish the entire chapter; however, there will be material from the chapter on the exam. In addition, the class has received a packet on angles and their measurements to review and complete a number of pages weekly in preparation for the ERB's.

The homework assignment for Tuesday, May 1st is p. 394 the even problems.

The rest of the week we will concentrate on graphing linear equations and using the x and y intercepts to graph linear equations. Work will be assigned from pp.400-402. With time permitting we will investigate and work on slope, pp.403-409.
