Bus Rules

General Transportation Information

Four year old Pre-School students can now ride the bus to and from school.  Those who need to ride the bus home will be permitted to stay from 3:00 to 3:25 pm with no After Care charge.           

There will be two routes this year, Middlesex and Mathews.

For non-contracted students: A daily rate is offered for those families with a periodic need for bus service.  If a child is to be picked up on a morning route, a signed note will need to be sent to school the day before. Any child needing to be dropped off on an afternoon route can bring in a signed note to school that day.  No child will be dropped off without someone there to meet him or her at the requested stop unless a signed waiver is on file with the school. Waivers are available through the Business Office.

1 child                            $15.00

2 children                        20.00 (total)

3 children                        25.00 (total)

*A half-price rate is available for one-way service, either for pick up or drop off.   

Full service agreement rates are payable in full in September or in seven equal installments from September through March.  You will not receive an invoice for contracted transportation charges.  Daily rates will be invoiced at the end of each month.  Transportation fees need to be paid separately from other charges.
