Athletics are an integral part of Ware Academy, and as an educational institution we discourage a “win at all cost” approach to competition. We value the honorable pursuit of victory.  Ware Academy strives to win games and championships but never at the expense of the school’s mission and philosophy.  The school recognizes that athletic competition instills teamwork, selflessness, resilience, and self-discipline. Success in these areas will foster a desire to compete, healthy relationships, and good sportsmanship.

The athletic teams are a tremendous source of pride for the Ware community.  Ware Academy celebrates the opportunity to come together in support of our teams and to display our appreciation for their efforts on the playing fields.  Ware participants bring passion and spirit to all athletic events and as well as respect to spectator conduct.  Ware never takes for granted the privilege of participation, recognizing how fortunate it is to partake in the vibrant experience that is youth sports.  Most of all, the athletic experience at Ware Academy should be an enjoyable one for all involved.
