Ware Academy's 60th Graduating Class

We celebrated the school's 60th Graduating Class at our Annual Commencement Ceremony on Friday, June 4th at Ware Episcopal Church. The guest speaker was Ms. Karen Barefoot, Head Women's Basketball Coach for Elon University. Ms. Barefoot delivered an empowering speech about reaching goals in this competitive time by a continued passion for learning, creating and capitalizing on opportunities, visualizing your future and to expect nothing, but give everything. The graduates were inspired by her passion and motivated by her words. We all left the ceremony with an extra spring in our step!

"We are proud of all our graduating classes, but this class being the 60th graduating class marks a special occasion in the school's history. Each member of the Class of 2010 fulfills our Portrait of a Graduate, and I am confident that our boys and girls will be excellent ambassadors for Ware Academy and their respective secondary schools," said Head of School, Tom Thomas.
